This will be a block development, including a 7-storey seniors’
residence and a 22-storey luxury condo tower. In addition to
significantly altering the streetscape of this area, the excessive
height of the condo tower (where the current policies permit a
maximum of 10 storeys and no more than 6 storeys near Lakeshore Rd.)
could set a precedent for more of the same.
