May 2023 - PUBLIC MEETING: Virtual and in-person statutory meeting Monday, May 29, 2023 @ 6:00 pm at the City's Planning and Development Committee (PDC). A decision will be made by PDC on the application.

February 2023 - APPLICATION IN PROCESS: Dream has submitted plans to redevelop the existing multi-level parking garage (street view ; image below) to the north of 70 Park Street East (aerial map) at the SE corner of Queen Street East and Helene Street North, across from the Port Credit GO Station.
COMMUNITY MEETING A *virtual* Community Meeting (info here) will be hosted on February 21, 2023 @ 6:30 pm by Councillor Stephen Dasko to discuss the application and hear public comments.
PROPOSAL: A 38-storey condo building containing 530 residential units plus amenities, and ground floor retail commercial space. Underground parking (8 floors) will include provision of parking stalls for the 27-storey rental apartment building to the south (facing Park Street), which will remain and be improved in appearance (e.g. balconies and windows).

NEXT STEPS: All public comments at the Community Meeting will be recorded for an Information Report (along with all e-mails, etc. received from anyone in the community) which will be formally presented at a statutory Public Meeting (under the Planning Act) before the Planning and Development Committee (PDC) of Council. Public input at the PDC Meeting will be noted for the Supplementary Planning Report to be issued within the 120 day processing window, containing the Planning staff recommendation to PDC regarding approval (or not) of the application.
January 2023 - INFORMAL PRESENTATION: TOPCA reps, at the invitation of Ward 1 Councillor Stephen Dasko, attended an informal overview presentation by the Dream development team on January 30, 2023 to learn details of the initial proposal, as submitted to the City Planning Dept. (OPA/ZBA) on January 26, 2023. A Site Plan submission will follow. Commercial tenants along Helene Street and residents of the existing 27-storey rental building at the south end of the site were given separate presentations on January 18 & 19, 2023 to address their specific concerns.
